SharePoint as a Weblogging tool?

Matt Williams of Micosoft says, “DUDE! Sharepoint is not a weblogging tool!” (via Scripting News)

However, as I mentioned back in November that SharePoint Team Services could be used as a Weblogging tool and that many Office users didn’t even realize that have it.

    I think this is a bit like Lotus Notes. It did lots of things, but only a handful of companies ever used it to its full potential. Mostly people just wanted to do email, and it sucked for email. Ray Ozzie (and later IBM) went around for years saying the equivalent of “DUDE! Lotus Notes is not an email client” instead of actually listening to their customers and giving them what they wanted, which was an email client.
